Difference between Up the Roll & Railroaded fabrics can be a head scratcher.

Up the Roll

• Fabric pattern that run up the roll vertically

• Parallel to the selvage

Railroaded

• Fabric pattern runs across the roll selvage to selvage horizontally, i.e. upholstery stripes & wide width drapery

• Provides a continuous roll of the pattern making it easy to upholster without creating seams
